Born to a christian family, Arthur is strongly associated with church and christian practices. He was chosen to be the Elder (see note# 1 for details) of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Late 2017. Arthur currently looks after the technology related needs of his church in addition to any ad-hoc responsibilities given to him by the session.
He also served the Presbyterian Education Board from 2008 to 2010 as Member and Part of the Executive Committee.
NOTE# 1 Elder: An elder is an ordained person who usually serves a local church ordained to a ministry of word, sacrament and order, filling the preaching and pastoral offices. Presbyterian (or presbyteral) polity is a method of church governance typified by the rule of assemblies of presbyters, or elders. Each local church is governed by a body of elected elders usually called the session or consistory, though other terms, such as church board, may apply. “
